March 14, 2018 –Future state of Records and Information Management…From the rear-view mirror, where we are, and looking forward down the path. The session will be primarily electronic centric dealing with advanced data governance specific to ML (machine learning), AI (artificial intelligence) In-Place records management, Character/pattern recognition & Blockchain technology. Our goal is to develop professional awareness and enterprise readiness of these game changing technologies, usefulness and trends. We will engage potential impacts and benefits to RIM/IG in order for attendees to take a proactive stance for the future wave of managing information and records.

Andrew J. SanAgustin has been an Information Governance professional for his entire career. He began his specialty in Washington, DC, where he attended the University of Maryland at College Park. His diversified experience spans various industries with expertise in back-end system development/deployment and front-end user acceptance, global policy and compliance, solution delivery, operations, workflow and process improvement, change management, and electronic data management. Currently he is the Corporate Records Program Manager at Microsoft CELA (Corporate External and Legal Affairs, Office of the General Counsel) where he is works to implement and manage global RIM strategies in line with professional business partners, and all up advanced data governance. Mr. SanAgustin is a subject matter expert, has authored several articles, and regularly presents sessions on the topic of Records Asset Management, and Governance Compliance.
