Amid the developing situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the health and safety of our ARMA Hawaii members and event attendees is our primary concern. In compliance with Federal, State and County directives regarding this pandemic, the ARMA Hawaii Board has canceled the 2020 ARMA Hawaii April 13 Data Breach Preparedness and Response workshop and put on hold other upcoming events. We will notify you via e-mail and the ARMA Hawaii website at www.armahawaii.org when we resume meetings, workshops and other programming.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience, share your ideas, lead the chapter to new heights, and to make a difference in the world of Records and Information Management. I encourage you all take the oath and join a group of dedicated RIM professionals to continue serving our members and communities. Please notify me of your interest in seeking a position with the chapter no later than May 15, 2020.
On a happy note, the Records Management Team, Archives Division, Department of Accounting and General Services, State of Hawaii, was awarded “DAGS Team of the Year for 2019” on March 10, 2020.
