Charlie Sodano will reflect on the history of ARMA Pacific Region. Liz Carrera will talk about where the ARMA Pacific Region is headed under her leadership. This presentation covers the past, present and future of the Records Management profession and the role of ARMA Pacific over time from the perspective of our leaders.

Charlie Sodano is a hands-on Records and Information Management specialist with a proven record of success for providing creative solutions with bottom line results. He is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the pharmaceutical and consumer food products industries. He has worked with the legal community in eDiscovery cases applying computer assisted review technology utilizing his SME background to screen and filter information deposed for litigation.

Charlie has made numerous presentations at US and international meetings of the American Chemical Society, ARMA International, AIIM, Institute of Food Technologists, EMC Documentum User Meetings and conferences sponsored by leading training and education organizations.

He was ARMA Pacific Region Director from 2015 – 2021 and current Trustee of ARMA International Educational Foundation.

Liz Carrera is the current Regional Director of the ARMA International Pacific Region. She has also held various leadership positions within ARMA.

Liz is an Arizona State University graduate and has worked her way through multiple distinguished positions. She is a certified Records Manager as well as an certified Information Governance Professional. She is currently the Head of Global Records and Information Governance at PayPal.
