ARMA Hawai`i Chapter Presents: Managing Electronic Records-Governance and Implementation Fundamentals

Events

This session will focus on the basics of building and implementing an electronic records management program. Speaker will provide a high-level overview of two areas, laying the governance foundation for electronic records management and implementation of an electronic records management program. Session will include all the following topics: the role of policy, the impact on retention schedule, the use of an inventory, the criticality of metadata, the importance of implementation methodology, technology considerations and the need for change management. Session will be useful to organizations just getting an electronic records management program off the ground and to those that might be facing challenges with their current program.
