Core Competency: Information Technology Charlotte MarcielCharlotte Marciel and Joseph Hawkins are co-founders of Business Intelligence Analytics (BIA), an analytics consulting and development company. www.busintelanalytics.com. Charlotte has 20 years experience in business analytics, both in the business and Information Systems. She has served as lead in Business Intelligence implementations both as a developer and architect for numerous data warehouse and mart implementation. Her expertise is in SQL, data architecture, data visualization, advanced analytic applications and more recently deep and machine learning. Joseph HawkinsJoseph is BIA’s chief data scientist. He is skilled in R and MicroStrategy and has in-depth experience in financial models, quantitative and statistical models, machine learning and deep learning. He created an innovated corporate Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) time series forecasting application. Charlotte and Joseph teach Data Analytics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa Shidler College of Business, School of Accountancy.
