ARMA Hawai`i Chapter: Cyber Security

Events

Wednesday, February 14, 2018:  Cybersecurity is a constant threat to every organization. These threats are becoming more sophisticated and the anonymity of the internet is providing a worldwide footprint for hackers. As organizations fortify their defenses against brute force attacks from outside intrusion, one area of vulnerability remains as a threat to all organizations – our employees. Through phishing, malware, or simple theft, employees are the most difficult vector for defense because of the balance of risk and operational efficiency. We will discuss examples of these threats and ways to minimize their risks.
